We use USPS (United States Postal Service) for all of our shipping needs.
For perishable items
We use Styrofoam boxes with dry ice (frozen solid form of CO2) to maintain freshness and to preserve quality.
The shipping methods for the perishable items are:
- USPS Priority Mail: 1-2 day to deliver for most U.S. Cities.
- USPS Priority Express Mail: Next day delivery.
All our products are premium quality. We are one of the major seafood suppliers for five star seafood restaurants in Greater Seattle area.
All frozen seafood will be shipped with dry ice to keep frozen until it is delivered.
USPS Priority Express Package: Next day delivery (If ships on Monday, delivered by Tuesday).

Non Perishable Items
We use regular boxes with the options of USPS Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, and Ground Service.
Once we ship the package, you will receive tracking information via email. If you don’t receive our communications, please check your spam folder and designate us as a safe sender.
All Young Ocean’s seafood items are processed under following Fish and Fisheries Products Hazards & Controls Guidance to kill possible parasites;
- Freezing and storing at -4 F (-20 C) or below for 7 days (total time),
- or freezing at -31 F (-35 C) or below until solid and storing at -31 F (-35 C) or below for 15 hours,
- or freezing at -31 F (-35 C) or below until solid and storing at -4 F (-20 C) or below for 24 hours.
